Calling all TED Talk Wannabes!
We have a forum for YOU … Back by popular demand, the OWLS Talks will be taking place again during the 2019 event! If TED Talks are ideas worth spreading … then OWLS Talks are experiences worth sharing. We are calling for submissions from passionate, polished, out-of-the-box thinkers to speak for 5 minutes in front of an audience of fellow military members on a topic of your choosing that you feel should be addressed at the 2019 OWLS. Your topic can cover any issue or perspective that you believe needs to be given a voice; however, it should be non-partisan and non-service branch specific. In keeping with the theme for the 2019 OWLS: Leading Innovation & Change in the New Era … now is the chance to inspire innovative thinking in others through your voice … and you never know where the ideas sparked by your discussion may lead!
To apply please send the following via email to OWLSTalkVideos@gmail.com NLT 22 February 2019:
- An outline of your proposed speaking topic
- Your biography with photo (military or similar)
- A one minute video pitching your topic
Finalists will be notified by March 11th.
